SC21 – 21st Century Supply Chains

SC21 (21st Century Supply Chains) is a supply chain improvement programme aimed at raising the performance and competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry.

Although it is a voluntary programme, SC21 is fast becoming the industry benchmark for excellence, with most Primes insisting that potential suppliers must be working within an improvement framework such as SC21.

TPT have currently supported 21 SC21 award recognitions and re-recognitions in the Bronze, Silver and Gold categories, this equates to around 15% of all SC21 award recognitions to date. We are currently working with a company who have just been awarded the prestigious SC21 Gold Award, this, in itself, is a landmark achievement as it is the first and only SC21 Gold awarded to a manufacturing company. We are also working with a number of cluster groups of companies working towards SC21, including the General Dynamics Cluster Group. We are facilitating this through SC21 cluster group meetings and also an online dashboard to measure and benchmark each companies delivery and performance data against SC21 requirements.


SL Engineering: TPT has assisted SL Engineering to achieve SC21 Bronze Recognition, and more recently to achieve AS9100 Revision C Transition and SC21 Silver Recognition.
